Based on the analysis and simulation results of the traffic information such as vehicle speed and road congestion status collected by vehicle sensors installed on the road,
a traffic control system performs traffic light control using signal controllers and provides traffic information such as congestion through various media on the road (infrared beacons, etc.)
to realize a safe and smooth road traffic flow.
We provide a wide range of products, from central systems to transmission systems, traffic signal control systems and vehicle sensors.
We have a proven track record of delivering our products to major cities across Japan, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Traffic Control Center, the largest of its kind in the world.
Optimal signal control through coordination of macro and micro control
We use MODERATO-S, an improved version of the signal control algorithm MODERATO, which is widely used in Japan, to achieve optimal signal control by coordinating "macro control," which centrally controls traffic signal controllers in the entire urban road network, with "micro control," which controls traffic fluctuations at each intersection using each individual signal controller.
Utilization of probe information and AI technology
By utilizing probe information and AI technology, which have become increasingly widespread in recent years, we are working to realize a smooth road traffic environment at locations where traffic condition data could not be collected due to lack of vehicle sensors.
